people who need film for these old cameras should buy roll film a size bigger and cut to fit the old film spool. has to be done in a darkroom of course and cut gently to avoid sparking the film.
I used to work at Kodak Park in Rochester,NY, 1941-42 in the new Kodacolor dept. I was there when the first customer sample was put on the automatic processing machine. Kodacolor film could be processed as B&W film and make a decent image

I have a 2-A which has been a family heirloom. It does have the rounded ends. I am trying to determine the serial number. I have found three numbers on the camera: 1. On the lens is 14510, 2. On the front description plate is 11206, and 3. On the support foot is stamped 504385. So which one is the serial number for the camera?

It is in perfect conditions, every part works, the leather is perfect, doesn’t have the case or instruction book, but i think it must worth a bit more than yours, don’t you know?. Here in my country some collector tried to give me about 2000 U$D, and it sounds me too much, please could you to act as consultant to guide me?

Gary – Best bet is to do a search on eBay for completed auctions. That’s where I bought all of my old cameras, and I don’t remember paying more that 20 bucks for any of them.

Hi,

I have one of these cameras, which belonged to my girlfriend’s grandfather. For an old camera, it looks okay, except for the fact that the outer lens is missing and the bellows are a bit brittle. Other than this it is in very good condition and comes with its original brown leather case. Although it wouldn’t be functional because of the missing lens, it would make a good display item. How much would it be worth?
