Hi - I paid $12.60 for the art deco model with a box & manual in nice condition in Oct. 2009. I've respooled 120 film and tried it out. Photos are a little soft, but pleasing and it's not at all complicated to use. When you consider that the 6x9 format is approx 60 MP digital equivalent it will do a lot better job than your camera phone. Here are some instructions to try it yourself, www.brownie-camera.com/respool/respool.shtml

Hi, if you look at a 120 roll of film you will notice that there is a ring around the spool wheels, using a pair of nail scissors or clippers carefully cut the ring off. voila! a 620 spool of film. Make sure there are no rough edges and you should haev no problems. I've used this trick many times with my Brownie and a few other "620" camera's.

Hey, I have a Brownie Hawkeye and I am looking for some 620 film (which is not made anymore so its 120 film re-rolled onto a 620 roll). If any body as any could you just post a comment and tell me. Also if any body knows where I could find a flash bulb for my camera too, that would be great.

Correction: I've found a few other places that sell 620 film, all of which can be found with a simple search on Yahoo.

jandcphoto.com sells specially cut 620 film. It's the only place that you can get actual 620 film.

You can also simply use 120 film and a 620 take-up spool.

It does indeed use 620 film. If you are really wanting to use the camera, you can re-spool 120 film onto a 620 spool. Film for Classics (<a href="http://www.filmforclassics.com">www.filmforclassics.com</a>) sells re-spooled film if you don't want to try it yourself.
