Kodak unveils new logo

At the CES last week, Kodak introduced a new logo. The new look replaces the look of their traditional yellow film box with a more contemporary look.

Since 1907, the Kodak logo has gone through several changes…

1907 – According to the Kodak Press web site, the Kodak logo was the first to incorporate the name of the company into the logo.

1935 – The design incorporates what will become the standard yellow color for Kodak.

1960 – Logo is changed to the ‘corner curl’.

1971 – Kodak changes to a logo style that will remain similar until the most recent change.

1987 – A small font change brings the Kodak logo out of the 1970s.

Current – The yellow box that has been part of the Kodak logo since 1935 is gone, giving way to a more modern look sporting a yellow border at top and bottom.
