Kodak – Digital sales overtake film sales

For the first time, Kodak has profitted more from digital products than film products over the course of a year. Digital sales represented 54% of total revenu for Kodak in 2005.

Inspired by a posting on PhotographyHack.com, I realized that I needed to make some New Years resolutions for my photography; in addition of course to the normal lose weight, be happier, manage my money type that I make every year.

Cameras inside jewelry & glasses?

Kodak CEO, Antonio M Perez, gave an interview to the New York Times last week in which he hints at the future of cameras as Kodak sees it.

KonicaMinolta dropping camera and photo lines

KonicaMinolta announced today that they will be discontinuing their camera and photographic material lines.
A few key points from the press release:

Some of their cameras will be transferred to Sony, who will continue supporting the Minolta lens mount.
Color film and paper are being transitioned out and will officially stop being produced by the end [...]
